1) Amazon Associates
Amazon Associates is one of the most popular affiliate networks online and is one of the best affiliate programs to promote on your site.
As you probably already know, Amazon has a wealth of different products ranging from electronics to books and from health products to gardening tools.
There's just SO much to choose from within Amazon that it makes it one of the best to promote.
No matter which niche you're in, there's bound to be products that you can promote within Amazon.
Additionally, if a customer clicks through your link and doesn't even purchase the product you were promoting, you still get a commission on any purchase they make within the 24-hour cookie window.
For example, I found out that I earned a commission and the customer had purchase doggy bags...I've never promoted this on any of my sites, but I still earned a commission!
Awesome!

2) Skimlinks
Skimlinks is a tool which converts retailer links straight into affiliate links.
By adding a bit of code to your site, Skimlinks automatically turns some of your new and existing non-affiliate links into affiliate links.
I recently just started with Skimlinks and I actually started making money with it right away.
I was so surprised!
It's so easy to set up and it doesn't take long before you start earning, depending on the retailer's links you're using.
There is also a Google Chrome extension which notifies you when Skimlinks has a link available for that particular merchant.
So not only can you get links for your site, but you can also share them on social media.
If anyone makes a purchase through your Skimlinks link, then you'll earn a commission.

For more details on how to set up a blog on a budget, with iPage, check out this in-depth 6-step beginners guide.
When I first started my affiliate marketing journey, I earned my first 3-figure commission with them, and it was paid directly to my Paypal account.
Some people have claimed that they didn't receive payment from iPage, however, I've included a screenshot showing payment proof of my first commission.
