What Is Income League?

is income league a scam - income league review sales page

Income League is an online program that claims to teach you how to earn affiliate commissions by placing "tiny little ads" and just watching the money roll in.

How Does It Work?

Although there isn't a lot of information provided about what you'll actually be doing with this program, what you do get to know is that the method you'll be taught is Affiliate marketing.

The sales video repeatedly shows what appears to be Matthew's Clickbank account, so it's clear that the training material is geared towards you making Clickbank commissions.

You're given the impression that you only need to work only 1-2 hours a day.

Matthew and Jaime hint that this is a brand new, "revolutionary" method that DOES NOT involve:

  • Facebook ads
  • SEO
  • Blogging
  • or Youtube

It all sounds very enticing...but it also sounds too good to be true.

As you continue to read through this Income League review I'll share some aspects of the sales video which raised my eyebrow about this program.

Ultimately, it's not as simple and initially profitable as they make it out to be.

Is Income League A Scam? Take Note...

I noticed a few red flag moments as I watched the sales video, and they all gave me the indication that this product will fail to deliver on the promises they fill your head with.

1. Misleading Income Claims For Beginner Marketers

is income league a scam - misleading income claims for beginners

To start off with, Matthew shares his Clickbank account, then he and Jaime discuss the fact that he's made $2k a day, doing nothing but posting "little ads".

Anyone getting started online is not going to be making $2k a day, and certainly without the experience that he probably has through years of trial and error.

Although Matthew never claims that anyone using his "system" will make $2k a day, they do give off a false sense of what you could achieve getting started with their program.

2. Make Money Online With Just A "Tiny Little Ad"

As well as Matthew flaunting his Clickbank account, he also continually shares how he makes all this money with "tiny little ads".

The problem I have with this is that they make the work sound really easy and that's not true.

No matter how experienced you are as an affiliate marketer, creating successful ads is all about trial and error.

So a beginner marketer will struggle at first until they themselves begin to trial and error to see what works for them.

The other issue I have is that they don't mention the additional costs that might go into creating these ads.

They claim it's free, but as with most programs, there's always some hidden fee, so I would be mindful of this if you choose to purchase this product.

3. No Mention Of How You'll Be Earning With These Ads

In addition to the points above, I noticed that they didn't go into much detail about the ads and where the ads will be placed.

I understand that they won't give all the information away, but I feel like I didn't really know what I could potentially be getting into if I personally purchased this product.

I didn't feel confident that I was given all the important information to make an informed decision about the product.

4. Upsells

Upsells are not uncommon in online products like this, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with upsells.

The problem comes when the main product cannot work on its own and it requires the purchase of upsells.

And unfortunately, Income League is one of those products.

Although there's no hint of upsells in the sales video, I was able to gain access to the affiliate information and noted that affiliates can earn up to $400 per referral.

This is much more than the $37 entry fee which customers will be paying, which highlights the fact that there are more products being upsold after a buyer enters the front end offer.

Here's a screenshot to give you a quick idea of the funnel involved:

is income league a scam upsell funnel

In total, if a customer purchases every product in the funnel, they could expect to spend up to $540, even before getting to the members' area!

This is a far cry from the initial $37 "entry fee".

Pros

  • 60 Day Money Back Guarantee - This product is hosted on Clickbank, so you'll be able to claim your money back within 60 days.
  • Some Affiliate Marketing Training

Cons

  • Misleading Income Claims
  • Not Much Information About How You'll Actually Be Making Money With These Ads, Or About The Training Involved
  • Too Many Upsells
  • No Free Trial

Final Thoughts

Although I don't feel it is a complete scam, I do feel that they give a very false impression of how you'll be making money online.

They present the product as a super simple way to make thousands of dollars online with little to no time and experience.

Great review of Income League Stephanie!

You have outlined a lot of red flags here to stay away from this offer, with the misleading income claims the biggest!

I also don’t like the idea of needing to purchase the upsells to have success with the original offer!

I’ve got nothing against upsells, in fact, I use them in my own online business, but they have to be “stand-alone” or add to the original offer in some way.

If you need to buy the upsells to make the original product work, then that spells scam in my book!

Great review 🙂

Hi John, thanks for joining in the discussion! I agree, upsells shouldn’t be used to make the main product work, they should be used to enhance the main product, which should be sufficient on its own anyway.

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for the info on income league I think I have heard of it before. I will completely avoid this program it waves too many red flags. So sketchy how they bait you in just to upsell you. I have dealt with similar programs like this and it is not a good feeling wasting your money.

Hi Jeffrey, thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. I agree, their goal here is to upsell you with unnecessary products/tools. It’s not worth the money in my opinion, and there are much better programs out there.

Hi Stepahine

Thanks for this review, I am actually on Mr Lewis’s email list and he bombards you with offer after offer. As for this product, even the name puts me off and earning thousands of dollars by posting little ads?? Don’t believe that for one second, I wish affiliate networks like Clickbank had a more robust process in place that would filter out products like these.

Hi Minhaj, thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences of being on Me Lewis’s email list. I agree it’s a shame Clickbank doesn’t have stricter policies on products like these.
